What insurances do you accept?
We accept most major insurance and are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Coventry, Midland’s Choice, Medicare, and many others. We also accept Worker’s Compensation and, Personal Injury claims. We are happy to verify your insurance coverage and share our findings with you before you begin care.
How much will it cost?
The cost of an initial consultation, exam, and x-rays if necessary will depend upon your unique insurance coverage. We are happy to verify your coverage at the time of your first visit. Check out our new patient special here. For many of our new patients, their cost for the first visit is as little as their $20 copay. For future appointments, it is hard to estimate a cost since so many factors come into play. Depending on your insurance and on-going needs, we will discuss the cost of any future treatments with you prior to any more incurred costs.
How much time will it take?
We generally advise our patients to allow about 30 minutes to an hour for their initial appointment. This allows time to complete paperwork, exams, any x-rays that the patient needs, as well as the checkout process. If you want to save time, print off the new patient paperwork here – New Patient Forms
What is going to happen during my initial appointment?
During the initial appointment, Dr. Powers will sit down with you to discuss the reason for your visit and any other concerns that you or the doctor feel corrective chiropractic care can help. He will then perform a comprehensive examination to determine what is causing your pain/problems, and how to correct it. Any necessary X-rays will also be taken.
What happens after my first appointment?
After the initial appointment, the doctor will go over all the findings, what it takes to get them corrected, as well as all insurance benefits. We will will then schedule your first treatment.
