We’ve all been there… hunger striking before dinner, a sudden craving for something sweet, a needed pre-workout energy boost… the solution? Not face-planting into a bag of M&Ms!   1. Frozen Grapes – 28 grapes (about 1 scant cup), placed in the freezer for 2+ hours
  2. Honeyed Yogurt – 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt with 1 dash cinnamon and 1 tsp honey
  3. Spiced Orange – 1 medium orange, sprinkled with cinnamon
  4. Grilled Pineapple – 2 and 1/4 inch thick pineapple rounds grilled or sautéed for 2 minutes or until golden
  5. Berries ‘n’ Cream – 1 cup blueberries with 2 tablespoons whipped topping
  6. Baked Apple – 1 small apple, cored, filled with 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 sprinkle cinnamon, baked until tender
  7. Cafe Latte – 8 ounces steamed skim milk with 1 shot espresso
  8. Cucumber Salad – 1 large, sliced cucumber tossed with 2 tbsp chopped red onion and 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  9. Pistachios – 25 kernels
  10. Curried Sweet Potato – 1 small sweet potato microwaved for 6 minutes and mashed with 1 tsp curry and salt and pepper to taste
  11. Shrimp Cocktail – 8 large shrimp with 2 tablespoons classic cocktail sauce
  12. Smoked Beef Jerky – one ounce
  13. Turkey Roll-Ups – 2 slices smoked turkey rolled up and dipped in 2 teaspoons honey mustard
  14. Antipasto Plate – 3 pepperoncini, 1/2-inch cube cheddar cheese, 2 slices pepperoni, 2 extra-large olives
  15. Carrots and Hummus – 12 medium baby carrots with 2 tbsp hummus
  16. Spinach and Feta Egg White Scramble – 3 scrambled egg whites mixed with 1/2 cup raw spinach and 1 tablespoon feta cheese, cooked over the stove or in the microwave until egg whites are no longer runny
  17. Grilled Garlic Corn on the Cob – 1 small corn cob brushed with 1 teaspoon sautéed minced garlic and 1 teaspoon olive oil, grilled until tender
  18. Bacon Brussels Salad – 7 thinly sliced Brussels spouts mixed with 1 crumbled piece turkey bacon
  19. Apples and Peanut Butter – 1/2 slice apple dipped into 1/2 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  20. Apples and Cheese – 1 light mozzarella cheese stick with 1/2 sliced medium apple
  21. Carrot and Raisin Salad – 1 cup shaved carrots with 1 1/2 tablespoons raisins and 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  22. Rice Cake and Almond Butter – 1 rice cake with 2 tsp almond butter
  23. Strawberry Salad – 2 cups raw spinach with 1 cup sliced strawberries and 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
